As we briefly make our way through this text tonight, we answer three fundamental and essential questions; WHO is to praise the Lord, verses 1 and 6, WHY is the Lord to be praised, verse 2, and HOW is the Lord to be praised.

Psalms 150

As we make our way through Simeon’s Song for Christmas, we will hear Simeon sing about the light of salvation in verses 29 and 30 and the light of revelation in verses 31 and 32.

Luke 2:25-35

As we make our way through the Angels’ Song for Christmas, we will hear the angels sing to God in the highest in the first bit of verse 14 and His coming to the lowest in the second part of verse 14.

As we make our way through Zechariah’s Song for Christmas, we will hear Zechariah bless the Lord for His redemption in verses 67 through 75 and for His forgiveness in verses 76 through 79.

As we make our way through Mary’s Song for Christmas, we will hear Mary sing about the salvation of God in verses 46 through 50, the power of God in verses 51 through 53, and the faithfulness of God in verses 54 and 55.
