First Things First

Moving from my testimony, I share my hope for myself and the future of PCCC through the lens of 2 Corinthians 4:1-6, seeing that we dont lose heart in verse one, that we renounce error in verses two through four, and what we proclaim in verses five and six.

Famous Last Words!

In this final message from Ephesians, we will see Pauls request in verses 19 and 20, Pauls gift in verses 21 and 22, and Pauls farewell in verses 23 and 24.

The Full Armor of God

As we walk through this text this morning, we will see Our Lord in verse 10, Our Enemy in verses 11 and 12, and Our Armor in verses 13 through 20, but we will hold off on the last two verses for next weeks final message in Ephesians.

Relationships Matter, Part III: Slaves and Masters

As we make our way through this text, we will see, simply enough, Instructions for Bondservants in verses 5 through 8 and Instructions for Masters in verse 9.

Relationships Matter, Part II: Parents and Children

As we walk through this passage we will see, simply enough, instructions for children in verses 1 through 3, instructions for fathers and ultimately parents in verse 4, because this allows us to examine how Christians, young and old are to work out what it means to walk wisely in this world as Spirit-yielded, Spirit-filled Christians , this time in relationships between parents and children.

Relationships Matter, Part I: Husbands and Wives

We walk through our text to see How Wives Relate to Husbands in verses 22 through 24, How Husbands Relate to Wives in verses 25 through 30, and How This Mystery is Profound in verses 30 through 33.

Flee Sin and Walk in Love, Part II

As we make our way through the text, will we choose to be wise or foolish, verses 15 through 17, will we be Spirit-filled or drunk, verse 18, and will we follow Gods pattern, verses 19-21.

Flee Sin and Walk in Love, Part I

Making our way through this text, we will see that we are to Imitate God by Right Living in verses 1 through 3, by Right Talking in verse 4, by Right Company in verses 5 through 7, by Right Walking in verses 8 through 10, and by Right Shining in verses 11 through 14.

Members, One of Another

Working through this text, we will see that Christians are to be like God in verses 25 through 29, that Christians are not to grieve the Spirit in verse 30, and as Members One of Another, Christians are to be people who forgive in verses 31 and 32.

Be Who You Now Are

We see this exhortation to not be who we were, but to BE who we now are in verses 17 through 21, with exhortations that we are to PUT OFF our old self in verses 21 and 22, that we are to be RENEWING our minds in verse 23, and that we are to PUT ON our new self in verse 24.

Out of Many, One

In Ephesians 4:7-16 we find the GRACE for unity in verses 7 through 10, the GIFTS of unity in verses 11 through 13, and the GROWTH in unity in verses 14 through 16.

In recognition of Independence Day the day before, we noted how E Pluribus Unum isnt just a great description of the United States of America, but also Pipe Creek Community Church.

From Indicatives to Imperatives

Now we will begin to shift FROM the indicatives of the Gospel TO the imperatives of the Gospel. how we work out what has been so beautifully worked in. We see in chapter four a call for unity, a call for oneness, as we are exhorted to live in a manner worthy of our calling, before finding a sevenfold confession of the unifying realities of our faith.

Another Great Prayer

As we make our way through Another Great Prayer by the Apostle Paul, we will see Pauls address in verses fourteen and fifteen, Pauls requests in verses sixteen through nineteen, and Pauls blessing in verses twenty and twenty-one.

The Mystery Revealed

As we make our way through the text, we will briefly connect the two in verse one, before considering the mystery of the Gospel in verses two through six, the ministry of grace in verses seven through nine, and the manifold wisdom of God in verses ten through twelve. With that in mind, we will count the cost with Paul in verse thirteen.

One Thru the Cross

My purpose in preaching this passage is to show how the cross makes unity with others and with God possible, and that we remain under construction as we are continually built into the dwelling place of the Holy Spirit. .

Helpless and Hopeless...But God

My purpose in preaching this passage is to show the magnitude of our sin crashing into the magnificent love of God, which leads to our only appropriate response.

After being off the previous weekend for our 10th anniversary, we returned to continue our series through Ephesians on May 31, 2015.

One Great Prayer

I show in this model prayer of the Apostle Paul, he is giving thanks to God and then praying for His wisdom, His blessing, and His power, before confessing the greatness of God

One Great Sentence

As we look at this passage, we will discover that moving through the One Great Sentence of the Apostle Paul, we find praise goes to the Father who elects, the Son who redeems, and the Spirit who seals.

The Will, Saints, Grace, and Peace of God

My purpose in preaching this message is to show that Paul is writing this letter by the Will of God to the Saints of God, showing the Grace of God and the Peace of God, and oh how beautiful the will, the grace, and the peace of our Lord is for the faithful Saints that know Him!

The Foundation of the Christian Life

My purpose in preaching this passage is to show the atoning sacrifice and resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ is something on which we must stand, on which we must believe, and upon which we must act.
